This one wasn't CCPs fault, there's no need to apologize, and if you aren't tagging a 10+ day skill at the end of your training queue, it's yer own damn fault.
Remember the six P's, kids. Prior Planning Prevents **** Poor Performance. Applies to yo skillqueue too. Technically it's CCP's fault as they should have a perfect defense against any kind of attack. My job is done as I payed for my accounts. But because I am a reasonable guy ( we all should be ), I don't blame them at all but a compensation is not absurd in these circumstances. Nobody has a "perfect defense" for anything. There is no computer network anywhere in the world that has a perfect defense, nor a defense that cannot eventually be beaten. For every security expert out there protecting networks form kids with too much time on their hands, there are 100 kids using programs they don't even understand, to initiate and sustain DDoS attacks on their networks. Once you grasp what exactly a DDoS attack is, then perhaps you will change how you feel about what has been initiated against CCP

Technically it's USA's(or UK or France or any other countries) fault as the government should have a perfect defense against any kind of terrorist attack. My job is done as I payed my tax to the country.
But because I am a reasonable guy ( we all should be ), I don't blame them at all but a compensation is not absurd in these circumstances. |
